Lahore: The Australian cricket team for the ODI series against Pakistan has been announced.
According to Cricket Australia, Pat Cummins will lead the team, Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head are on paternity leave so they have not been considered.
The ODI matches between Pakistan and Australia will be played on November 4, 8 and 10. The squad for the three T20 matches will be announced later.
The selected squad includes Shane Abbott, Cooper Connolly, Jack Fraser McGurk, Aaron Hardy, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Ingles, Marnus LaBouchen, Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Matthew Short, Marcus Stones and Adam Zampa.
According to Chief Selector George Bailey, as this is the last ODI series before the Champions Trophy, he has tried to maintain balance in the squad so that he can gain experience in his squad for the Champions Trophy in Pakistan in February.
