Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has issued NOC to the National Women’s Football Team for the SAFF Championship despite the Football Normalization Committee not following the NOC procedure in the wider interest of the country.
The National Women’s Team will fly from Islamabad to Kathmandu today, the squad consists of 24 players along with 8 officials.
SAFF Women’s Football Championship will be played from October 17 to 30 in Kathmandu, with the national team playing its first match against India on October 17.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Sports Board has made it clear to all the federations that they should apply for NOC in time to go abroad, and has directed to send timely profiles of all potential players and officials.
Sharing the performance report after the event has also been made necessary, Pakistan Sports Board is now uploading everything on its website to move things in the right direction so that Pakistan Sports can be improved.
