ISLAMABAD: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman says that the government violated the agreement but Jamaat-e-Islami will not back down from the public interest movement against IPPs.
Addressing a press conference at the Melody office, Jamaat-e-Islami Amir said that after October 7, the party’s movement against the economic terrorism of IPPs is continuing.
He said that at that time the Supreme Court was divided into two parts, which is a great misfortune, constitutional amendments are not allowed to be done in the dark of night.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that Qazi Faiz Isa should announce that he will step down after 25 days. Changes to the underlying document will not be accepted.
Talking about the Israeli aggression, he said that Israel wants to establish a government from the Nile to the Euphrates, for which Israel is launching attacks in Palestine, Gaza and Lebanon. Schools, tents, mosques and churches were also attacked by Israel.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that he pays tribute to the patience and courage of the people of Gaza, but the Arab countries should have stood with the people of Gaza. Israel has to make them worse.
He said that most of the weapons that Israel is using are from America, America lies and deceives that it wants to negotiate. America has never cared about humanity and Hiroshima Nagasaki is a witness, America has covered the whole world in fire and blood, sold arms.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that from October 1st to October 7th, Gaza and Lebanon will celebrate solidarity, with large marches and protests throughout the week. On October 6, there will be a million march in favor of Gaza in Karachi and on October 7 there will be protests across the country, on October 7 everyone should come and stand on the streets wherever they are at 12 o’clock, send a message to the whole world. We will also contact embassies to convey this message globally.
The Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami said that the one who creates division in the Ummah at this time has a sick mentality, Israel did not see this, but he killed everyone, Shia and Sunni. In 1940, Quaid-i-Azam approved the agreement in Minto Park that Israel is an illegitimate child of the West.
