KARACHI: The price of gold decreased in global and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by 5 dollars, bringing the new global price to the level of 2617 dollars per ounce.
On the other hand, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs 600 per tola in local bullion markets on the first day of the business week, bringing the new price to Rs 271,900. Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams in the country decreased by 471 rupees, bringing the new price to 2 lakh 33 thousand 110 rupees.
In contrast to the fall in gold prices, the price of silver in the country remained unchanged at Rs 2,950 on Monday and the price of silver per 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs 2,529.14.
