KARACHI: The government’s foreign exchange reserves increased by 30 million dollars during the last week.
The State Bank of Pakistan released weekly foreign exchange data, according to which an increase of $30 million was recorded in government foreign exchange reserves during the week ending September 6.
With the increase of 3 million dollars, the value of the government’s foreign exchange reserves reached the level of 9 billion 466 million dollars.
According to the State Bank, commercial banks have reserves of 5 billion 329 million dollars, thus the value of total foreign exchange reserves was recorded at 14 billion 796 million dollars.
