Islamabad: An 18-member special committee for the Charter of Parliament was formed among political parties, which includes 12 government and 6 opposition members.
An 18-member special committee has been formed among the political parties to better manage the Charter of Parliament and the functioning of Parliament.
According to the notification issued by the National Assembly Secretariat, the Special Committee formed under the National Assembly Rules 244B will formulate its recommendations for the better functioning of the parliamentarians, the constitution, the rules and business of the National Assembly and the functioning of the Parliament.
According to the notification, the special committee will include representation from all political parties. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Khurshid Shah, Naveed Qamar, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Syed Aminul Haque, Chaudhry Salik, Abdul Aelam Khan will be the members of the special committee.
Apart from this, Pauline Baloch, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Azam Nazir Tarar, while Akhtar Mengal, Barrister Gohar Ali, Hameed Hussain, Shahida Akhtar Ali, Hamid Raza Khalid Magsi, Ejazul Haque, Mahmood Khan Achakzai will also be members of the Special Parliamentary Committee.
