Leeds: In The Hundred Tournament, Northern Supercharges beat London Spirit using the Duckworth-Lewis method.
In the 29th match of the event played in Leeds, the Superchargers team, chasing 112 runs, reached 64 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 44 balls when the game had to be stopped due to rain and later the Superchargers under Duckworth-Louis. Declared winner by 21 runs.
Graham Clarke scored 26 runs for Superchargers. Matthew Short 25 and Ollie Robinson 13 not out returned to the pavilion.
Matt Critchley took 1 wicket for Spirit.
Earlier, batting first at the invitation of Northern Superchargers, London Spirit scored 111 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 100 balls.
Ravi Bopara scored 31 runs for Spirit while Liam Dawson returned to the pavilion not out scoring 27 runs. Keaton Jennings 30, Shimron Hetmire 5, Matt Critchley 3, Michael Pepper 3, Andre Russell 3, skipper Dan Lawrence 2 and Ollie Stone 0 were out.
