London: Children who skip breakfast are more likely to be unhappy, a study has revealed.
Researchers found that 10- to 17-year-olds were more satisfied with their lives the more they ate breakfast.
They analyzed data from around 150,000 children in 42 countries, including the UK.
Life satisfaction scores were highest among participants who ate breakfast every day and lowest among children who never ate breakfast.
Researchers believe there are several reasons for this, including how the vitamins and nutrients in breakfast can help students focus and learn in school.
