The action-packed trailer focuses on the long-lost re-emergence of legendary villain Sauron, heralding the return of darkness and evil after years of fierce fighting in the Middle East.
The drama series is based on the events of JRR Tolkien’s book ‘The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings’, which will take viewers thousands of years ago to an era in which great powers will emerge, kingdoms will rise. and will suffer destruction.
The first season of ‘The Rings of Power’ was a huge success with more than 100 million viewers worldwide and a record 32 billion minutes of streaming on the OTT platform.
The series attracted more than 25 million global viewers on its first day, the largest premiere in Prime Video history.
All eight episodes of the first season of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ are now available to stream on Prime Video in multiple languages in more than 240 countries and territories, while the second season will premiere on August 29, 2024.
