ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has released draft electronic and manual income tax return forms for the tax year 2024.
The notification issued by the Federal Board of Revenue said that all relevant stakeholders can submit their views and suggestions on the drafts of the new income tax return forms within seven days.
Suggestions and comments received after the due date will not be entertained and new income tax returns forms will be implemented through gazette notification.
According to the notification, electronic and manual return forms have been introduced for individual taxpayers, association of persons and other categories of taxpayers.
The notification further states that after the finalization of the tax return forms, the taxpayers will have to submit their returns for the tax year 2024 as per the new income tax return forms and provide their income and expenditure details as per the return form.
