On the occasion of International Day of Women Diplomats, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said in a statement that today is celebrated to acknowledge the extraordinary services of women diplomats around the world. This day reminds us of the steps taken for gender equality in the diplomatic field. The role of women in diplomacy is important in promoting peace.
Maryam Nawaz further said that Pakistan’s well-known diplomat Dr. Maleeha Lodhi and others played a significant role in diplomatic achievements. Women should pursue careers in diplomacy and international relations.
