ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has issued a second explanation of the decision regarding specific seats, in which it has said that the Election Commission is bound to implement the decision of the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court has issued a second clarification regarding the decision on specific seats and has said that the second clarification was issued on the request of the Election Commission.
The second clarification consists of two pages in which the Supreme Court has said that the July 12 decision of the Supreme Court cannot be nullified by retroactive application of the amendment made in the Election Act.
The Supreme Court has said that the amendments made in the Elections Act after the court’s short order will not have any effect on the decision, the Election Commission is bound to implement the decision of the Supreme Court.
