Manchester: A recent study has found that people who use e-cigarettes, i.e. vapes, are physically weaker.
In tests based on bike exercise, 20 participants who had been vaping for at least two years had significantly lower exercise capacity than those who did not use vapes at all.
In addition, vapes users had the same number of health problems as people who had spent the same amount of time smoking cigarettes, two years.
Lead author Dr Uzmi Faisal at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK said the young adults who vaped in the test felt short of breath, had more muscle fatigue and appeared less fit overall.
