Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has warned that Saudi Arabia will not hesitate to respond effectively to any threat or attack against the kingdom.

Riyadh : Saudi Arabia will not hesitate to respond effectively to any threat or attack, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said while reaffirming the kingdom’s commitment to reducing regional tensions through diplomatic efforts.

Addressing the annual session of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, Mohammed bin Salman said the kingdom would continue supporting efforts to establish the authority of Yemen’s internationally recognised government across the country.

According to Al Arabiya, the crown prince accused the Houthi movement of choosing “chaos, destruction and threatening the region,” while stressing that Saudi Arabia would continue working to support Yemen’s legitimate government.

He also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for Sudan’s unity and stability and the protection of its legitimate institutions.

Saudi Arabia Warns Against Threats to Its Security

Mohammed bin Salman said Saudi Arabia would respond decisively to any threat or attack against the kingdom.

At the same time, he said Riyadh was continuing efforts to ease regional tensions without compromising its national security.

The crown prince said Saudi Arabia’s armed forces and human resources were capable of confronting threats, adding that recent attacks targeting Gulf states had demonstrated that security in the Gulf was indivisible.

He also called for stronger strategic cooperation and economic integration among Gulf countries and thanked friendly and brotherly nations for their support in promoting regional security and stability.

Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan Defence Cooperation

Mohammed bin Salman described the Makkah defence agreement between Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan as an arrangement aimed at helping protect the region from escalating conflicts.

He expressed confidence that the agreement would contribute to strengthening regional security and stability.

Saudi Crown Prince Condemns Gaza Attacks

The Saudi crown prince strongly condemned attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and what he described as continued violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to play its role in achieving a lasting political solution to the conflict.

Riyadh Rejects Use of International Waters for Pressure

Mohammed bin Salman also addressed the global energy situation, saying the world was facing an energy crisis.

He rejected the use of international waterways as a means of political or economic pressure and said Saudi Arabia had demonstrated its ability to maintain oil supplies to global markets despite regional tensions.
