Rebecca Khan’s 22nd birthday celebration took an unexpected turn when her stunning five-storey birthday cake collapsed before it could be served to the guests.
Pakistani digital creator and TikTok star Rebecca Khan’s 22nd birthday celebration took an unexpected turn when an elaborate five-storey birthday cake collapsed before it could be presented to the guests.
Rebecca celebrated her birthday with family members, her husband Hussain Tareen and close friends through a series of celebrations. The grand cake prepared for the main event was expected to be one of the highlights of the occasion, but the celebration took an amusing turn when the towering cake failed to hold its shape.
According to Rebecca and Hussain Tareen, the cake had been kept outdoors for a considerable period before it was due to be served. The hot weather in Karachi, combined with the long gap between the cake’s preparation and its presentation, reportedly affected its structure.
The cake maker later addressed the incident in a separate video, explaining that the cake was in perfect condition when it left his possession. He said he had not been informed that the birthday event would take place outdoors.
The incident was captured on video and subsequently attracted attention on social media, with clips of the collapsed cake circulating among users.
Despite the unexpected cake mishap, Rebecca’s birthday celebrations continued. Her festivities had begun with a surprise pre-birthday gathering arranged by her family, where she appeared in a light green outfit.
Her husband and friends also arranged fireworks for the occasion, while Hussain Tareen reportedly surprised Rebecca with a new car as a birthday gift.
The cake may not have survived the celebration, but the unusual incident quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from Rebecca Khan’s birthday festivities.
