The divorce was later confirmed in January when Sana Javed married cricketer Shoaib Malik.

In a recent interview, Umir talked about life after his divorce and said, “I am very happy. Allah is very kind and I believe that He leads us on a certain path.” He added that fans’ love and prayers are very important to him.
