Mobilink Bank Wins Two CFA Society Pakistan Awards for Digital Banking and Gender Diversity
Islamabad, November 3, 2026: Mobilink Bank has secured two prestigious honours at the 23rd Annual Excellence Awards organised by CFA Society Pakistan, reinforcing its position as a leading player in digital financial services and gender inclusion.
The bank won the Best Digital Banking Services of the Year 2025 award in the Telcos category for the fourth consecutive year. It also received the Gender Diversity Award FY 2026 in the Non-Banking Financial Institutions category, recognising its efforts to promote women’s participation and leadership in the financial sector.
The consecutive digital banking recognition highlights Mobilink Bank’s continued investment in technology-driven financial solutions aimed at making banking more accessible, secure and convenient for millions of Pakistanis.
Operating alongside JazzCash, the bank serves more than 67 million registered users through a nationwide network of over 2.3 million merchants and agents. During the past year, it expanded its digital services by launching digital Islamic banking operations and strengthening its digital onboarding process through the Dost app.
These initiatives are designed to improve access to formal financial services, particularly for small businesses and communities with limited access to traditional banking facilities.
The bank’s second award acknowledges its progress in creating a more inclusive and gender-balanced organisation. Women currently account for 44 per cent of its senior leadership, reflecting their growing role in the institution’s decision-making and management structure.
Beyond workplace diversity, Mobilink Bank and JazzCash collectively serve more than 23 million women users and over five million women borrowers. Their lending to women has exceeded Rs163 billion.
The bank has also provided financial literacy training to 31,000 women, while its WIN Incubator has supported 28 women-led startups through its graduation programme.
Commenting on the achievement, Aamir Ibrahim, Chairman of Mobilink Bank and CEO of JazzWorld, said the fourth consecutive digital banking award reflected customers’ trust and employees’ commitment to improving financial services.
He added that the gender diversity recognition demonstrated the bank’s commitment to creating an institution where everyone has equal opportunities to grow and lead.
Haaris M. Chaudhary, President and CEO of Mobilink Bank, said the recognition from CFA Society Pakistan validated the organisation’s digital-first strategy and its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
He emphasised that digital innovation, people development and inclusive financial services remain central to the bank’s ambition to build a stronger financial ecosystem, particularly for women and small businesses.
The latest recognition follows another achievement for Mobilink Bank, which recently received the Community Engagement & Partnerships Award at the UN Women 2026 Asia-Pacific Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Awards.
The award acknowledged the bank’s efforts to advance women’s economic participation through inclusive partnerships and community-driven initiatives.
