Karachi: Former Pakistani actress Mishi Khan has criticized Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan for filming with Indian actress Vaani Kapoor.
Fawad Khan and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor’s first film together, ‘Abir Gulal’, has begun shooting, the news has been confirmed by an overseas entertainment publication, which revealed that the shoot will be in and around London. It is being filmed at various locations.
Production on the film will continue in the UK during October and November, with a release expected in late 2025 or early 2026.
There are also reports that the cast of the film also includes Malaika Arora and Ridhi Dogra, who are set to join the crew in the UK next month.
As soon as the news of the shooting of Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s film came out, while the fans expressed happiness, Pakistani actress Mishi Khan looked unhappy.
Mishi Khan shared a picture of Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor on his official Instagram handle and said that it is a pity that Fawad Khan refuses to work in mega projects with A-list actresses in his country and now Working with an actress from India who is not even famous.
It should be noted that Fawad Khan made his debut in the Indian film industry in 2014 with the Bollywood film ‘Khubrosat’. While Fawad’s last Bollywood film was ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ released in 2016, after which Pakistani artistes were banned in India following severe tension between the two countries.
