Mumbai: On the suicide of Bollywood actress and dancer Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora, his ex-wife and actress’s mother Joyce recorded her statement.
According to Indian media, when Malaika Arora was 11 years old, her parents divorced, after which the actress and her younger sister Amrita Rao started living with their mother.
Malaika Arora’s parents were separated for a long time after the divorce, but Anil Arora was living with his ex-wife Joyce for a long time and even at the time of suicide, Joyce was present at her ex-husband’s residence.
Hours after Anil Arora’s suicide, the police recorded the statement of his ex-wife Joyce, Malaika’s mother told the police in her statement that Anil used to sit on the balcony and read the newspaper every morning.
Joyce told the police that on the morning of Wednesday, September 11, when she saw her ex-husband Anil’s slippers in the living room, she went to look for him on the balcony but he was not there. was screaming for help and Anil was lying on the ground.
He said that Anil Arora was not suffering from any disease, he only had pain in his knees.
It should be noted that Anil Arora, father of Malaika Arora, committed suicide by jumping from the roof of his residence in Bandra area of Mumbai on the morning of September 11, Wednesday.
