Lahore TikToker Arshma Death Case: Police Declare It Suicide, Forensic Report Awaited
LAHORE: Police have classified the death of TikToker and beautician Arshma in Lahore’s Islampura area as a suspected suicide, following an initial assessment of evidence recovered from the scene.
According to police sources, Arshma was found dead inside Flat No. 203 at Ahmed Hostel, where she had reportedly been living alone after renting the apartment recently. Investigators believe she died by hanging, although the circumstances surrounding her death remain subject to further investigation.
Following the incident, her body was shifted for a post-mortem examination. After completion of the medico-legal process, the body was handed over to her family.
Police have also sent biological samples collected during the investigation for forensic analysis. Officials said the final findings will depend on the forensic report, after which further legal proceedings will be determined.
The incident had earlier raised questions over the circumstances of Arshma’s death after her body was discovered inside her residence. Authorities are continuing to examine available evidence as part of the investigation.
Police have urged that conclusions about the case be based on verified investigative and forensic findings as the inquiry progresses.
