Israeli forces should withdraw from Lebanon by February 18, Hezbollah warns

Beirut: Senior Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has warned Israel that the Israeli army should withdraw from Lebanon’s borders by February 18, because it is part of the agreement and Israel no longer has any excuse to stay in Lebanon.

According to Arab media, under the ceasefire agreement, Israel was supposed to completely withdraw from Lebanese territories, but Israel is still adamant about keeping its troops in five locations inside Lebanon.

Without naming Israel, Naim Qassem warned that everyone knows how to deal with occupiers.

He said that Israel should refrain from violating the agreement, otherwise it will have to face the consequences.

Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel remain high, and there is a risk of further escalation in the region as the February 18 deadline approaches.
