Business representatives (Islamabad Traders ) discuss commercial issues and strengthen coordination with district administration
ISLAMABAD: A delegation of traders’ representatives led by prominent trader Ch. Muhammad Naeem and Haji Mumtaz Ahmed met newly appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Islamabad Dr Anum Fatima and congratulated her on assuming office.
The delegation presented a bouquet to Dr Anum Fatima and discussed various issues confronting the business community, along with matters related to commercial and business activities in the capital.
Speaking during the meeting, Ch. Muhammad Naeem said the trader community would extend full cooperation to the district administration and work closely with officials to ensure the implementation of policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulations governing trade and business activities.
He emphasized that effective coordination, consultation and mutual cooperation between the administration and traders were essential for resolving commercial issues and creating a conducive environment for businesses.
Ch. Muhammad Naeem said traders would maintain regular contact with the district administration and contribute towards resolving genuine problems faced by the business community.
He also appreciated Dr Anum Fatima’s professional experience, noting that she had previously served at the Capital Development Authority (CDA), where she handled civic and development-related matters, including action against encroachments.
The trader leader expressed hope that Dr Anum Fatima would effectively discharge her responsibilities as ADCG Islamabad and continue to support efforts aimed at resolving legitimate concerns of the business community.
The delegation also conveyed its best wishes to the newly appointed ADCG and reiterated its commitment to maintaining full cooperation with the Islamabad district administration in the future.
