No device in the Samsung Galaxy A series has introduced 45W wired charging yet. But later this year, the company is going to introduce its Galaxy A56 which will support 45W top-ups.
Today we have some exciting news for those who were waiting for the upcoming Galaxy A36 instead and that news is that this handset will also support 45W wired charging.
This information about the handset has come to light through the IECEE certification that it received for the Galaxy A56.
Both devices will launch with Android 15, with One UI 7 on top, which means they won’t arrive until February (as the Galaxy S25 handsets will launch with the latest software first).
The Galaxy A56 will use Samsung’s Exynos 1580 SoC, while the A36 will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.
