FFC announces results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026

Rawalpindi :Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) has announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting strong earnings driven by higher fertilizer sales, improved market share, and robust investment income.

According to the company’s Board of Directors, which met on July 29, 2026, FFC recorded a net profit of PKR 41.8 billion during the first half of the year. Earnings per share (EPS) increased to PKR 29.1, compared with PKR 27.0 in the corresponding period of 2025.

The company said its urea plants produced 1.417 million tonnes of urea during the period, while 369,000 tonnes of Sona DAP fertilizer were manufactured.

FFC also reported a significant rise in fertilizer sales. Urea offtake reached 1.404 million tonnes, up from 1.122 million tonnes in the same period last year. DAP sales, including imported products, increased to 318,000 tonnes from 288,000 tonnes a year earlier.

The stronger sales performance helped FFC expand its market presence. The company’s urea market share climbed to 56%, compared with 48% in the previous year, while its DAP market share improved by three percentage points to 66%.

Total product revenue surged to PKR 200 billion, compared with PKR 155 billion in the corresponding period of 2025. The increase was primarily attributed to higher sales volumes across key fertilizer products.

FFC said the combination of higher revenues, disciplined cost management, and investment income of PKR 28 billion contributed to its improved financial performance.

The Board of Directors also approved an interim cash dividend of PKR 14.5 per share for the second quarter of 2026. This brings the company’s cumulative dividend for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, to PKR 23.0 per share, reflecting its continued commitment to delivering value to shareholders.
