In Mastung district of Balochistan, an attack took place near the police mobile at Civil Hospital and Girls School Chowk, as a result of which 4 people were killed and more than 10 were injured.
The blast occurred near a police mobile, resulting in the destruction of the vehicle while several rickshaws were damaged, police said.
The police said that one policeman and 3 children are among the dead, while the injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital.
The Balochistan government condemned the bomb blast near the school in Mastung and asked the Home Department for a report on the incident.
The spokesperson of the provincial government, Shahid Rand, said that the district administration, bomb disposal squad and security forces are present at the spot, and the nature of the explosion is being determined.
He further said that evidence is being collected from the spot, emergency has been imposed in hospitals to provide medical aid to the injured and all doctors and medical staff have been summoned.
