Rawalpindi: PTI lawyer Faisal Farid Chaudhry has said that Imran Khan has written a letter to the Army Chief in which he has said that the establishment stands with those who have themselves been twice NRO-hit.
While talking to journalists informally at Adiala Jail, he said that PTI founder Imran Khan has sent a letter to Army Chief General Asim Munir and he sent this letter as the country’s largest political party and former Prime Minister. The letter has presented reports regarding the martyrdom of army personnel due to terrorism and six points have been presented in the letter.
Faisal Chaudhry said that it has been written in the letter that the army is successful in the war against terrorism only when the nation stands behind it.
Lawyer Faisal Chaudhry said that Imran Khan has requested the Army Chief to change the policy. The letter also contains material regarding the country’s history of fraudulent elections, the 26th Constitutional Amendments, the PICA law, state terrorism against the PTI, the constitutional responsibility of intelligence agencies, and the country’s economic situation.
According to Faisal Chaudhry, the letter states that distances are being created between the army and the nation. The main reason for these distances is the policies of the establishment. The establishment stood with those who are twice NRO victims, which created hatred in the nation.
