MUMBAI: Social media users are demanding the re-release of Emraan Hashmi’s popular films ‘Jaant’ and ‘Awarapan’, produced under Mahesh Bhatt Productions. Mahesh Bhatt has promised to provide information in this regard soon.
In the current era, re-released films are getting great success at the box office, including ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’.
Fans are demanding the re-release of popular films, from which the producers are earning crores of rupees.
Emraan Hashmi’s film ‘Jaant’ was a big success at the box office in 2008, while ‘Awarapan’ failed.
But with time, it has acquired the status of a cult film. Both the films are also memorable due to their music and songs.
Speaking to Indian media, Mahesh Bhatt said, “I feel like the universe is demanding me to re-release these two beautiful films. I will be able to tell you what we can do after talking to my team.”
This demand was made after the grand release of “Sanam Teri Kasam”, whose music reminded the audience of “Janta” and “Awarapan”.
