LAHORE: Heavy fog continues to prevail in various cities of Punjab today. Motorways have been closed at various places due to zero visibility.
The spokesperson of the Motorways Police says that due to zero visibility, Motorway M5 from Multan to Sukkur and Lahore Sialkot section has also been closed for all types of traffic.
Motorway authorities have closed M2 from Lahore to Bhera, M3 from Lahore to Darkhana and M4 from Multan to Pindi Bhattian due to smog.
Flight operations in Punjab have also been affected due to heavy fog, 6 flights to Multan have been cancelled.
According to aviation sources, a total of 34 flights have been delayed across the country, including domestic and international flights.
