Lahore High Court order to demolish polluting factories

LAHORE: The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Alia Neelam, gave different punishments to three judicial officers for their involvement in corruption and other crimes.

After the approval of the Chief Justice, a notification was issued to sentence three judges, under which Civil Judge Shazia Parveen was dismissed, Civil Judge Shahbaz Hussain was demoted four grades below and Additional Sessions Judge Abdullah Usman. Fine was imposed.

The Chief Justice passed judgments after considering the evidence and hearing the judicial officer, there were other charges against these judges including corruption.
