Islamabad: JUI(F) Central Secretary General and Member of National Assembly Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi has said that Qazi Faiz Isa’s decision in the Mubarak Sani case was deliberately given, which was reversed due to the pressure of the nation, constitutional amendments. How can we support such a person?
In an informal conversation with journalists at the Parliament House, he said that the government was in such a hurry regarding the constitutional amendments that even the parties involved in the alliance were not taken into confidence. I had shared the draft with him, but he had taken an oath not to share it with anyone.
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi said that we have to legislate and the constitution which is called Measaq Milli, if it is so hidden, how can it be seen? The friends of People’s Party said that they should see the draft and then negotiate. If the government is not serious or does not take matters seriously, then how will things go?
He said that after being disappointed in convincing us, he stopped the process and then did not contact us. We were understanding that maybe the People’s Party wants to find a middle way with the government, the decision for the Constitutional Court will be when we get the draft and we will consider it and give an opinion.
He said that Qazi Faiz Isa gave the decision in the Mubarak Sani case deliberately, which hurt the hearts of all Muslims and increased the pressure of the nation, then he withdrew the decision, how can we support such a person? ?
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari said that we cannot leave our position for positions like governor without leaving the principle. We asked PTI to make a draft on the constitutional amendments. The pass has a separate draft.
The member of the National Assembly further said that the government knows how much the establishment was interested in the current amendments.
