Washington: The spokesperson of the US State Department has condemned the terrorist attacks in Balochistan and expressed its determination to stand side by side with Pakistan in the war against terrorism.
According to the World News Agency, these views were expressed by Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US Department of State, in response to a journalist’s question during the weekly press briefing.
The journalist had asked whether the focus of the meeting of US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Bloom with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar was the security of Afghanistan and the region. Recently, more than 70 people were killed in a terrorist attack in Balochistan. And we heard that in this meeting, Pakistan had asked for help from America to defeat these terrorist networks.
On which the spokesperson of the US Department of State, Matthew Miller, said that the US strongly condemns all acts of terrorism, including the terrorist attacks in Pakistan’s Baluchistan province last week, in which security personnel and civilians were targeted.
The American spokesperson continued his speech and added that the people of Pakistan have suffered a lot at the hands of extremist terrorists. Heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed in the terrorist attacks.
Matthew Miller further said that the US and Pakistan have a common interest in dealing with threats to regional security due to terrorism.
