Mumbai Police have received a threatening email warning of bomb attacks on several prominent locations across the city, including the residence of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

According to Indian media reports, the email mentioned several high-profile locations, including the Bombay High Court, Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Mahalaxmi Racecourse and Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow in Juhu.

Following the threat, security agencies conducted searches at the locations mentioned in the email. However, no suspicious objects were found during the security checks.

Security concerns in Mumbai have reportedly increased following recent incidents involving prominent film personalities. Security arrangements around Amitabh Bachchan’s residence have also been strengthened since last week.

This is not the first time the actor’s residence has been targeted in a bomb threat. On October 23, the Mumbai Mayor’s Office reportedly received a similar threatening email mentioning Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow, the Mayor’s Office and Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

Authorities have taken the latest threat seriously as security measures remain in place across the city.
