Zong 5G Home Broadband

Z HomeFi offers fibre-free 5G home internet with speeds of up to 50 Mbps across 10 major Pakistani cities.

ISLAMABAD, October 8, 2026: Zong has launched Z HomeFi, described by the company as Pakistan’s first 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) home broadband service, bringing next-generation mobile technology directly into homes.

The new service is designed to provide high-speed home internet without requiring fibre installation or traditional fixed-line infrastructure. Zong says Z HomeFi offers a simpler plug-and-connect experience aimed at households seeking flexible broadband connectivity.

Initially available in Pakistan’s top 10 cities, Z HomeFi can be obtained exclusively through Zong Customer Service Centres, with the company planning to expand availability to its franchises in the future.

The service comes with 12 prepaid packages offering internet speeds between 10 Mbps and 50 Mbps, with monthly data allowances ranging from 100 GB to 500 GB. According to Zong, prices start at PKR 4,500 and go up to PKR 11,000 per month, inclusive of taxes.

Customers will also need a 5G indoor Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), priced at PKR 22,000, which supports a plug-and-connect setup for home use.

The company said the service is intended to meet a range of digital needs, including everyday browsing, video streaming, remote work, online education and other connected-home activities.

Zong Head of Marketing Sajid Munir said the company aims to make advanced connectivity more accessible by bringing 5G directly into Pakistani households without the complexities associated with fibre deployment and fixed-line infrastructure.

He said Z HomeFi provides households with greater flexibility for learning, working, streaming, content creation and staying connected.

The launch is part of Zong’s broader strategy to position itself as a technology enabler for Digital Pakistan by combining its 5G network, digital platforms and technology capabilities to develop customer-focused services.

With Z HomeFi, Zong is also promoting its “Aisa Hai Future” brand promise by extending 5G connectivity beyond smartphones and into everyday home environments.

The company said the new service represents another step toward a more connected and technology-driven Pakistan.
