ISLAMABAD (City Reporter): The Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry (PAEI) and Chinese company Hainan CISAS Human Resources Co., Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting trade, economic cooperation, business relations, and investment opportunities between Pakistan and China.A delegation comprising Dr. Rizwan Ali, CEO of Hainan Sias Human Resources Co., Ltd.; Shodong Hai, CEO of Zhongtai Special Cable Technology (Pvt.) Ltd.; Wang Fang, Director; and Chaudhry Javed Sabir visited the office of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, where they held a special meeting with PAEI Founder Chairman Khurshid Barlas. PAEI Executive Member Tauseef Zaman was also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the long-standing and exceptionally strong friendship between Pakistan and China, as well as the growing bilateral relations between the two countries. They emphasized the importance of strengthening business-to-business (B2B) contacts and expanding trade and investment cooperation.PAEI Founder Chairman Khurshid Barlas said that despite changing global circumstances, political developments, and economic fluctuations, the friendship between Pakistan and China remains strong and enduring. He emphasized that closer cooperation between the business communities of both countries is essential for expanding bilateral trade and investment.

Under the MoU, both parties will organize B2B meetings with business delegations to promote trade, improve business and investment policies, exchange information, and explore new areas of cooperation. They will also facilitate participation of their respective business communities in national and international conferences, exhibitions, and business-related events.The agreement aims to facilitate the business communities of both countries through the organization of exhibitions, B2B conferences, business events, and other joint commercial activities.

The parties agreed to establish reliable, practical, and mutually beneficial relations by encouraging greater interaction and cooperation between businesses and organizations in Pakistan and China.The two sides also agreed to organize a Made-in-Pakistan Exhibition in China, for which the Chinese side assured its full cooperation and support. On the other hand, Founder Chairman Khurshid Barlas proposed organizing a Made-in-China Exhibition in Pakistan with the cooperation of both organizations.

Such exhibitions will provide opportunities to showcase products from both countries, explore new markets, and further promote bilateral trade and investment.Dr. Rizwan Ali said that joint exhibitions and business events would provide an effective platform for companies from both countries to introduce their products, develop new business partnerships, and create opportunities for increased trade and investment.The meeting concluded with Founder Chairman Khurshid Barlas presenting a commemorative shield to the visiting Chinese delegation on behalf of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry.The signing of the MoU marks an important step toward strengthening Pakistan-China trade, economic, and business relations and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the business communities of both countries.
