Kuwaiti Defence Minister Meets Field Marshal Asim Munir at GHQ
Rawalpindi :A high-level Kuwaiti delegation led by Defence Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Saleem Al-Sabah met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
The delegation included Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kuwait Lieutenant General Khalid Darj Saad Al-Shriaan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defence cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional ties and expanding mutually beneficial defence collaboration between Pakistan and Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti delegation also appreciated the professionalism and operational excellence of the Pakistan Armed Forces, as well as their contributions to regional peace and stability.
The engagement underscored the resolve of both countries to further consolidate their historic and brotherly relations into a strong and enduring defence partnership.
Pakistan and Kuwait expressed a shared commitment to advancing defence cooperation in a manner that contributes to regional security, stability and mutual interests.
