Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah presented the one-year performance report of the Sindh government.
The ceremony in this regard was held at the Chief Minister’s House, in which provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, members of the assembly, bureaucrats, and representatives of civil society participated.
Addressing the ceremony, Murad Ali Shah said that whatever we do, we do it according to the vision of the leadership, the Sindh government has focused on digitalization, when we were studying, technology was old, now the era has changed.
He said that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari issued the Hari Card, farmers were registered digitally, in the last one year we have given twenty-eight billion rupees to farmers, while thirteen thousand four hundred and twenty-eight students have graduated.
Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government has given 196 new road schemes in one year, a total of twenty-five hundred kilometers of roads have been built. Fourteen buildings of the Sindh government have been solarized, and eighty percent less units have been used on government buildings with solar.
Murad Ali Shah said that we signed an agreement with the company, it checked every sack of wheat, the wheat that is available now is very good.
He said that we have built the world’s largest housing project, two million validations have been completed in the People’s Housing Project.
Murad Ali Shah said that eleven million bank accounts have been opened, four hundred thousand houses have been completed. The World Bank’s Board of Directors visited and described the project as very transparent.
He said that the Sindh government has provided Rs 90 million in funds annually for the disabled, 1185 lung transplants have been performed in Gambat Hospital, we have installed the third Cyber Knife in Jinnah, our new Indus complex will cost us eighteen billion, more than thirteen thousand surgeries have been performed in the Trauma Center Karachi.
