Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan, while talking to the media in North Karachi, said that I am not the kind of governor who only talks on the boundary.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori arrived in North Karachi late at night, where he was warmly welcomed by MQM leaders, including Member of National Assembly Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan and committee members. The people of North Karachi gave the Sindh Governor a warm welcome and showered him with flower petals.
Talking to the media, the Sindh Governor thanked the people and said that he sincerely thanks the media, social media and all the people. Today, the citizens welcomed me in a dignified manner on my arrival, for which I am extremely grateful.
He added that arrangements are made for Iftar at the Governor House and daily reciters recite the Holy Quran at the Governor House, among which the Qari Sahib who came from Indonesia was also present today.
The Sindh Governor also discussed the issues of Karachi and the province and said that new issues are arising in this city every day, of which the water issue is the biggest. However, we should not despair in any case. SIFC is a welcome hope, which will open the doors of development.
Referring to the government budget, he said that the budget that the government representatives are getting will be used for the development of this city, and we will, God willing, include Pakistan among the developed countries.
Referring to his responsibilities, the Sindh Governor said that since Allah Almighty appointed me to this position on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, we have been continuously discussing the issues of the city and the province. I am not the kind of governor who only talks within the boundary.
The Sindh Governor further said that the doors of the Governor House are open to the public 24 hours a day, and he appreciated the leadership and experience of Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan.
Finally, the Governor of Sindh said that so far, five and a half million people have come to the Governor House for Iftar, and this trend will continue.
