Bollywood’s famous director, writer and actor Anurag Kashyap has confirmed that he has left Bollywood and Mumbai.
According to Indian media reports, Anurag Kashyap, while describing the Bollywood film industry as toxic, has confirmed that he has left the film city Mumbai and shifted to South India and said that he has now permanently shifted to Bangalore.
Anurag Kashyap says that he wants to stay away from the film world and the people associated with it. He said that this industry has become very toxic now where everyone is trying to make a film of 500 or 800 crores.
The 52-year-old director, who has been associated with the film world since 1998, has said goodbye to it after his 27-year career.
Anurag further says that the creative atmosphere in Bollywood has now died and he has moved to South India to give himself a new life, frustrated and fed up with it.
Not only this, the director also admitted that he is jealous of South filmmakers, because it has become difficult for them to experiment in the current situation. He added that those who invest money in a film only care about their profits.
