Indian actress Jacqueline Fernandez received a gift worth Rs 112 crore on Valentine’s Day.
According to Indian media reports, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who was arrested in a multi-crore fraud case in 2015, gifted his friend Jacqueline Fernandez a private jet.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar revealed this gift in a romantic letter sent from jail. In the letter, he said that this Gulfstream jet is for Jacqueline, whose registration number is based on the actress’s date and month of birth. He further wrote that this gift has been given so that Jacqueline can travel around the world easily for her work.
Sukesh assured in the letter that Jacqueline will not face any legal problems due to this gift because this jet was not bought with the proceeds of crime. He said that he is declaring the jet in his tax return and will also pay gift tax.
It should be remembered that Sukesh Chandrasekhar has been in jail for several years on charges of financial fraud.
