Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and important government figures will visit various projects of ‘Green Pakistan Initiative’ tomorrow.
Under the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s (SIFC) Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI), the Army Chief and federal and provincial officials will review the ongoing agricultural projects and various facilities under GPI during this visit.
The visit will also include the inauguration of GPI’s ‘Smart Agri Farm’, ‘Green Agri Mall’ and ‘Research Facilitation Centers’. During this visit, the participants will be informed about the important achievements of GPI related to agricultural development.
Agricultural machinery and modern technology used in corporate farming will be exhibited by GPI. Government figures have also been arranged to visit model farms to get an awareness of the development and innovation of the agricultural sector.
Model farms set up in Peruwal and Muzaffargarh will expose farmers to modern agricultural techniques. The visit of the Army Chief and federal and provincial officials will further promote GPI’s agricultural development projects.
Agricultural development plays an important role in the stability of the country’s economy and efforts are being made by SIFC and GPI for this.
