According to a statement issued by the Presidency, during his visit to China, President Asif Ali Zardari met with his Chinese counterpart President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. The President also attended the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in the Chinese city of Harbin.
During the visit, memorandums of understanding on cooperation in various fields were also signed between Pakistan and China. President Asif Zardari’s delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Senator Saleem Mandviwala and Dr. Asim Hussain. President Asif Ali Zardari paid this visit at the special invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, in which bilateral relations and various important issues were discussed.
