World-renowned Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, has approached the court against those spreading false and misleading information about her health.
According to Indian media, Aaradhya Bachchan has filed a new petition in the Delhi High Court, seeking removal of false claims and videos spread about her from various websites.
This petition was filed following the court’s previous order, in which Google and other entertainment websites and YouTube channels were directed to immediately remove all false and exaggerated content related to Aaradhya Bachchan.
In the first petition, it was pointed out that some videos on YouTube made baseless claims that Aaradhya Bachchan was no longer in this world. On April 20, 2023, the Delhi High Court had strictly directed YouTube to immediately remove all fake videos related to Aaradhya’s health, which claimed that she was suffering from some serious disease.
The court had also made it clear that every child, be it a celebrity or a common person, has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. However, after some websites and social media platforms violated the court order, Aaradhya has filed a fresh application.
It is to be noted that in today’s hearing, the High Court has issued a notice to Google again and adjourned the hearing of the case till March 17, 2025.
