Chinese chatbot DeepSeek has suffered a major data leak, exposing more than a million sensitive records.
According to a report by CSO Online, the leak was discovered by cybersecurity researchers at Wiz Research.
They say the leak raises serious concerns about data security and privacy, especially as AI companies collect and analyze vast amounts of information.
DeepSec, a Chinese AI chatbot, has allegedly exposed a large database to users around the world without proper verification.
According to Wiz Research, the database includes sensitive information such as chat logs, system details, operational metadata, API secrets, and sensitive log streams.
The leaked database is estimated to contain more than a million records and is accessible to anyone in the world with an internet connection.
