Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with US Congressman Alexander Green, a key member of the Congressional Finance Committee, in Houston, during which matters of mutual interest and promotion of Pak-US relations were discussed.
During the meeting, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi apprised Congressman Alexander Green of the details of terrorism and infiltration incidents from Afghanistan. The Interior Minister thanked Congressman Alexander Green for his full support to the victims of the earthquake and floods in Pakistan.
Mohsin Naqvi highly appreciated the principled stance of US Congressman Alexander Green on the Palestine issue. He said that US Congressman Alexander Green raised a strong voice for Palestine, which is commendable. Such a principled stance on Palestine by US Congressman Alexander Green has been very well received.
Mohsin Naqvi said that relations between Pakistan and the US are warming up. Pak-US relations will further strengthen in the coming days.
Congressman Alexander Green said that he will visit Pakistan again soon. He has come to Pakistan 4 times to show solidarity and help the Pakistani people during the earthquake and flood.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Houston Muhammad Aftab Chaudhry and well-known American businessman of Pakistani origin Tahir Javed were also present on the occasion.
