Peshawar: Under the directives of the Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Babar Salim Swati, the assembly continues its series of educational visits aimed at familiarizing the youth, especially women, with democratic values and the parliamentary system. In this context, the students of the Women Media Center visited the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to gain insights into parliamentary reporting, legislative procedures, and assembly affairs.The Special Secretary of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Syed Waqar Shah, provided a comprehensive briefing to the students about the assembly’s functions, legislative procedures, and the process of drafting and passing resolutions. The students were also informed about the principles of parliamentary reporting and the critical role of media in the democratic process.During the visit, the students toured the assembly hall, the offices of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the media gallery, and other key areas.
