The appeal of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi against the sentence in the 190 million pound reference has been prepared.
The appeal is likely to be filed in the High Court on January 21, in the Islamabad High Court, Barrister Salman Safdar and Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry will file an appeal against the sentences on behalf of Advocate Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
The power of attorneys have been handed over to the Adiala Jail authorities for signature by the criminals. The jail authorities will return the power of attorneys to the lawyers on Monday. Lawyer Khalid Yousuf says that the power of attorneys have been taken by the jail authorities and we were not allowed inside.
It should be noted that Imran Khan has been sentenced to 14 years and Bushra Bibi to 7 years in prison in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
