Washington: The Qatari Foreign Ministry has announced that the ceasefire in Gaza will come into effect at 8:30 am local time today, Sunday. The ceasefire will begin at 6:30 am GMT.

In the 470 days of the war, the Israeli army has martyred 46,899 Palestinians in the worst massacre in history. In addition to this number, the Ministry of Health records that thousands of others have died under the rubble of destroyed buildings. Even after the ceasefire was announced, Israel has martyred 127 Palestinians.

In the first phase of 42 days, 1,904 Palestinians will be released in exchange for 33 Israelis. The Israeli Ministry of Justice has released a list of released Palestinian prisoners. The list of 737 Palestinian prisoners includes the names of prominent Fatah leaders Marwan Barghouti and Zakaria al-Zubaidi.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, called for Israel’s withdrawal from Syria and Lebanon, respect for the sovereignty of Lebanon and Syria, and an end to Israeli occupation of Palestinian land.

According to the Federal Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Munir Akram, briefed the Security Council on the situation in the Middle East. He condemned Israel’s occupation of the Golan Heights and called for the establishment of a comprehensive government structure in Syria.

Pakistan, which began its two-year term as a non-permanent member of the Security Council this month, has pledged to uphold the UN Charter and promote fair resolution of international disputes. The Pakistani ambassador demanded in the Security Council that Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity be restored.

Munir Akram expressed hope that the recent ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza will pave the way for a comprehensive solution that will include the establishment of a sovereign and independent Palestinian state.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed that this is a temporary ceasefire. We have been allowed to start the war again with the support of the United States if necessary. We will start the war again with full force if necessary. We will keep the army in Philadelphia.

On the 470th day of the war in Gaza, a knife attack was carried out in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, killing one Israeli and wounding two. The attacker was killed.

The World Health Organization announced a plan to increase aid after the Israeli government approved a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. According to the plan, aid deliveries could be increased to about 600 trucks per day. More than 12,000 patients are expected to be medically evacuated.

Israel has released a list of 95 Palestinian prisoners released under the ceasefire agreement at 4pm local time on Sunday, including 69 women, 16 men and 10 minors. Palestinian lawmaker Khaleda Jarrar was among those released. She was arrested at the start of the war.

Who will govern the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire is still unclear, but Hamas has confirmed that its forces will deploy to the strip as soon as the ceasefire takes effect tomorrow, Sunday. The Israeli cabinet also approved the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The Israeli security cabinet had previously approved the ceasefire. The question remains who the 33 hostages will be who will be handed over to Israel from Gaza at this stage. Two sources close to Hamas said that the first group of hostages to be released consists of three Israeli female soldiers. The list of Palestinians released includes Zakaria Zubaidi, the head of the armed wing of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah party.

Zubaidi escaped from Israel’s Gilboa prison in 2021 along with five other Palestinians. Hamas leader Bassem Naim has admitted that the ceasefire deal would not have been possible without Trump. The European Union has said it is ready to deploy its troops to the Rafah crossing after the ceasefire.

The Houthis in Yemen have claimed they have launched a missile attack on Israel. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has said that Israel must withdraw from southern Lebanon by a January 26 deadline. Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Governor was followed by Israeli Knesset (parliament) member Zvi Sukkot, who called the ceasefire agreement in Gaza a victory for Hamas.
