Islamabad: A three-member bench headed by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court, has issued an order for hearing on Article 191-A of the Constitution.
The Supreme Court has issued a written order for hearing on January 16 on the issue of powers of benches under Article 191-A, according to which a notice has been issued to the Attorney General.
The order states that the case was heard by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Irfan Saadat in the previous hearing, while Justice Aqeel Abbasi, a member of the current bench, has decided the said case in the High Court.
The order issued by the Supreme Court states that the said case should be fixed for January 20 before the bench that conducted the initial hearing of the case.
