Technology company Apple has released iOS Beta 3 for its devices in preparation for the release of iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3 and macOS Sequoia 15.3.
In the new operating system, the company is going to make some changes to Apple Intelligence, which includes disabling notification summaries for the News and Entertainment app. This is likely to be a temporary solution from the company. It is possible that the notification summaries feature will be re-enabled in future iOS updates.
Users can also turn off these summary notifications directly from the lock screen.
The company is also changing the font of notification summaries. These notifications will come in ‘italic’ fonts to distinguish them from regular notifications.
In addition to the notification changes, Apple is also bringing bug fixes and some changes to the camera control button, messages, and PDF editing in the new iOS.
Apple is expected to finally launch iOS 18.3 later this month.
