Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that we came prepared for the decision, the judge postponed the decision on his own accord, not the result of the deal.
Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar said that the court staff was informed about the decision today, now this decision will come on January 147, injustice has been done to us, the trial court’s attitude against us is unfair, we came prepared for the decision.
He said that Imran Khan did not take any advantage in the 190 million pound case, the 190 million pound case is absurd, the witnesses admitted that the PTI founder did not take any advantage, if this decision had been based on justice, Imran Khan would have been acquitted, God willing, Imran Khan will not bow down, he will remain steadfast.
He said that Imran Khan is in jail for the sake of justice and the constitution, he does not care about his life.
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said that a meeting of the talks is expected on January 15. The purpose of the talks is the supremacy of democracy and justice. An attempt is being made to give the impression of a deal by delaying the decision. There will be no deal. Justice is expected from the Supreme Court.
He said that we are not doing a deal at all. We are not negotiating for a deal but for democracy. We are not asking for any convenience. I am making it clear that no deal is being made.
Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan said that we could not meet Imran Khan today. We and the lawyers reached on time.
She said that Imran Khan wants the verdict to be announced. After the verdict, they will take the 190 million pound reference to the High Court.
Aleema Khan said that there is no pressure on Imran Khan. He had only made two demands. He wants the release of innocent prisoners. Now let’s wait for January 17 for the verdict.
